Closed-loop Control
The closed-loop control system for 3D Helmholtz coil includes a full set of automatic control of magnetic field. The system consists of a mounted Hall sensor, 3D coil-sets, high-precision power supplies, and the control PC. The power supply has its own built-in “continuous averaging” algorithm that allows it to perform full closed loop control. The controller implements closed loop control in combination with power supply and a Hall sensor using software. The control PC simply sends the desired field value - the controller will drive the power supply to maintain the field setting in a stable way. The magnet and power supply become a simple "set and move" system, relieving the control PC and the communications network of any ongoing control. The Helmholtz coils are equipped with a vertically adjustable platform to adjust the position of the samples.
System Functions
1. Set directly through the interface software and control the targeted 3D magnetic field.
2. Scan the magnetic field through the software interface.
3. Display the magnetic field and stability loops in real-time.
4. Log and plot data of the controlled field.
5. Operate with the maximum, minimum, average display.
6. Zoom in and out the graphs for the analysis.
7. Plot Controlled magnetic field curve and data storage with printing function.
